my first syf had to end like that. we were all aiming for the gold with honours. bahh. it's ok. we'll get the gold with honours in 2007! 2 yrs more. by then i'll be sec 4. hard to imagine me being sec 4 isn't it? so sad. by then there won't be any more seniors to bully.
anyway. to raffles strings: you all rock no matter what! yayy! luv all of you! whee.
syf yesterday was seriously quite exciting. as in. duhh. that was my first syf! and i luv our attire! i think we looked the best of all the schools there. *ego* but it's true. hah. but what was freaky was that on stage, the sound just dissipated into the air. sighs. ms ku said we sounded kinda shaky. i think i sort of agree. as in. we didn't play as well as our previous rehearsals.
and i think we sounded nice in the tuning room. seriously. especially respighi. i dunno why i especially like that piece. it's so nice! haha.
and i think all of us were very happy that we were allowed to stay for the results after all. yayy. ms khoo is quite nice after all. :) and then before the results were announced, all of us were super hyper. lol. i was bouncing around. and i took 3 camera-phone pics. one with denise, another with deanna[my wonderful standpartner who's as crazy as me] and wanqin, my dear fellow librarian.
so i supposed all of us were very disappointed when the results were announced. like duhh. sighs. i seriously felt like crying lah. and i think everyone else did too. hmm. wonder how lijia can laugh and cry at the same time. and wanqin! don't be so sentimental already...let's look forward to our august concert!
ms khoo was being very nice about it when we were discussing about syf this afternoon. oh wells. but i think we seriously sounded very nice on the recording! respighi! oh man. it's so expressive! and touching! although there were some articulation problems here and there. lol. and we did play quite soulfully. i think. we didn't exactly play that badly. yay.
and. i can't remember who's the person who said my make up wasn't dark enough. oh man. so i added some more. and then look what happened. ended up looking like a china doll.
but anyway. that wasn't really very important.
if only we had got the gold with honours. not that it means everything of course, but still, it would be a nice way to end syf right. sighs.
as for public speaking today. don't talk to me about it ever again. sucks. i'm so pissed. and i'm not pissed that my group lost. sure. there're lots of losers out there. what i'm pissed at, is that others look down on us. as though they're really big deal or something.
i've never seen this side of 212 before. oh wells.
ok. enough. time to cool down. bahh.

bahh. just finished filming the tv ad for our public speaking competition. gags. i had to wear this indian sari that exposed all my stomach fats! sigh. and margaret (i mean margaret zhang) kept poking me. :( bahh. well i suppose it was
a little fun. notice the stress on
a little. aiyah. actually it's quite enjoyable to do if it wasn't so tedious. i mean filming is fun...but seriously. this thing is so time consuming. it sux. why should gep people be penalized by having to do this kind of rubbish thing anyway. mainers don't have to do it! and rightfully we shouldn't be segregated since the whole school is under ip. sighs. but duhh i hope we do well in order to make it worth our effort. ahhh. 40%. *stresses out and tears hair in desperation*.
but this morning was fun! we were cutting scarves for strings syf. :) whee. it was totally enjoyable. and i'd rather spend my time cutting scarves than doing public speaking. margaret! (now i mean margaret teng) how could you call me a witch?! i am so going to turn you into a frog one of this days. and then you'll have to go "ribbit-ribbit" HAH. lol. joking. haha and kevyna looked so cute with the scarf over her head. lol. like a little baby.

big. big baby. haha. whee. and denise and yihui were on a singing spree today. haha. yihui...your baby voice is quite cute. :) and wanqin! my dear pretzie! :) haha. i think pretzels are deeelicious. but don't worry. i'm not planning to eat you. =D
ok i shall recount the events of the week. firstly, i wish myself a very happy belated burfdae! yay :) thankyews denisee and margaret and huiyi for the cute little potato-cat. it was soooo cuteeee! :) lol. frau tan called it a potato-Katze. which translates into potato-cat. i named it potato! lol. although potato has certain connotations. but actually i think potatoes are cute! and yummy too!
ahhh and thx stacey and elaine for the name bracelet[it looks very nice with my wonderful name there, doesn't it?] *ego* , charleen [my dear marshmallow fwen] for the cute soft toy[leopard cubs belong to the cat family too!] and the choccies, huirong for the cute notebook :), zhiwei for the cute mouse thingy but i'm not sure what it is, and of course, maggie my dearest mortal for the cute BLUE mouse and the other thing[what is it?]. oh yeahh and mrs see for the BLUE folder! and the m&ms. and green pen[does it mean i have a lot of corrections to do?]
oh yes! and thx ms yuen[my wonderful piano teacher] for the cd/dvd. and auntie shanti for the solitaire ring! wheee.
erm. did i miss out anyone? hope not...oh and thx to those who wished me happy bdae :) it was sweet of u all :) yupp yupp.
i realise i always fall sick around this time of the year. last year i was sick around this time too. on my burfdae too. same for this year. it's unfair ok....i actually sort of recovered, and then i got it again during strings. flu germs spread quickly. or is it just that my resistance is extremely low? ok maybe both.
anyway. syf is coming! jiayou strings! i know we can do it! yay. gold with honours! :)

yay! celebrated my bdae today.although it isn't the exact day yet...but well. i always celebrate on sundays. :) whee. wednesday! lol ok.
anyway. i luv my cake! it had a tiara on it. and it was in the shape of a castle! i'm such a princess! :) wheee. and my mom was the one who designed the cake. so pro right? yay. and my mom prepared all my fave food.[shepherd's pie, buffalo wings, calamari wings, caesar salad, pasta, jelly] yay. so happy. :) i was practically pigging out today. =D i'm gonna be so fat soon. might end up in taf club too. but who cares! :) ooh. i just realised that if you spell 'fat' the other way round, it becomes 'taf'. cool huh.
and i luv my prezzies too! i had a cute whale pendant from my mom and two pinky rings from my dad.:) and i had this very cuteee photo album from my godmother. :) the cover was a furry cat :) it was furryyy! :) and so cute! and i had a ripcurl bag from my auntie. and strawberry bath gel from my couzzie[val]. and french kitty handphone accesories from my other couzzie[mel] ohh yeah and two blouses, the french kitty one from my godma and a three quarter sleeve one from my auntie. and a pair of dangly cat earrings and a cat pendant from my youngest auntie[auntie pat] and candyy from my grandfather! and red packet from my grandparents! yay! :)
ok i wonder how many 'yay's there are in this blog entry. :)
today was so fun! playing monopoly with mel. :) lol she kept saying 'oolala' today. so funny...:) whee. val. your hairstyle is so spiky! looks like monchichi. no offence arh... =D

ohh yay! finally i managed to log in! yeah! blogger had a problem just now.
wheeee. i'm feeling particularly happy and accomplished today. we had our first food and nutrition lesson! and we made chicken burger! and ice lemon tea. :) wheee. my partner was xuyan. lol. she must have been going giddy because i was rushing up and down the bench like a headless chicken. being the blur person that i am.... :) okie. i may not be excellent at cooking...but for drying dishes..to quote ms ng: "well done, young lady...excellent!" YAY! ok that's not really anything to be proud of...but who cares! wheee :) lol. my talent lies in washing and drying dishes...:) haha. i'm being lame. :)
and we're making sheperd's pie and apple crumble! *drools* :) :) :)x10 haha. yay! i thought i'd miss the f&n lesson on apple crumble on syf day. lol. but the apple crumble lesson got swopped with the cake and cookies lesson. ohh noooo. i just realised i'm going to miss the cookie lesson. nooo. *sobb* my beloved cookies! *wails*
ok i wasn't making much sense right? lol.
yay! i luv our syf attire! all black! yay yay yay! black rox! :) except black stockings of course...*moans* do we really have to wear them? we're going to look like plastic dolls. bah.
:) oh yay. waddle won banner making competition. :) that was kind of expected. :) whee. i think the waddle cheerleaders were good too! :)
oh no. so many tests coming up. :( stupid geog test. it's going to ruin my weekend. and i'm celebrating my bdae on sunday. helloooo. sniff. :( greatttttt.

yay let's see...today is 3rd april. 17 days more! *hinthint* haha ok. :) bounce. i can't wait! :) :) :) except that we have quite a lot of tests around that week. and syf is exactly one week after my bdae. i wonder if that's bad. i think it is. if we start practising daily exactly one week before syf, it means that i might have to spend my bdae in the freezing strings room. and of course, having strings prac on that day means there are worse things than turning into frozen meat. ahaha. forget it if you don't get what i mean. plus. we have speech and drama assessment during that week. argh. i hate speech and drama. :( bah.
aah so sad. pope john paul II died today. this morning. how sad....
erm let's see. food and nutrition starts this wednesday i think! yay. :) me loves cooking. although i'm scared of fire.

ahaha leadership workshop just ended. it was...erm. a bit boring. actually it was quite boring. yupp. but anyway i survived! yay. haha. vionna and i were the only people from 212 because joyce and xuyan went on some other date. haha. anyway. the guy[i think he was called mr chu] made us sit separately cos he didn't want anyone from the same class sitting together. bleagh. but it's quite good in the sense that you get to know more people. haha he was so lame...he said all the treasurers were the money people, so we know who to rob in future.. bah. i certainly do not wish to be robbed, thank you very much...hmm. yeah. erm okie. i have nothing else to say.

bleagh. haven't blogged for ages. ok what do i wanna say? uh yeah i'm so happy that my wound has dried up already. formed a scab. yay. i don't have to limp around anymore. don't have to suffer going up and down the stairs. :)
ahhh so sad. the school stopped selling chocolates. bah. are they trying to turn us into health freaks or something? crazy. *wails* i luv chocolate! :(
hmm. oh yeah we changed groups yesterday. i think i miss my old group a bit. haha. like i miss hearing justine say that she's hungry and can't wait for recess. i miss charleen's spasticity and humour. I miss my under-the-table-foot-fights with dawn. *sniff* and i miss hijacking letters! :(
but my new group is nice too! haha. valencia, xuyan, huirong and vionna. :) valencia says that our group is very incoherent. haha. ooh and rongie wrote me a letter although we sit right next to each other. haha. so cute.
we played an april fools joke on ms rozanah today. omg. her reaction was funny. justine hid in the shelf behind the whiteboard. then she knocked on the whiteboard and then ms rozanah thought there was someone at the doot. lol. zhimin made a big show of walking to the door, opening it, looking out into the corridor, then announcing loudly that there was a whole group of people outside. haha. anyway. ms rozanah probably suspected something. heehee. then justine started sliding the whiteboard up and down for dunno what reason. and erm. unfortunately ms rozanah saw it and discovered that justine was hiding in there. haha. at first ms rozanah checked the lower shelf instead of the upper shelf, only to find that it was locked. :) lol. mrs see had her share of tricks too. she tricked us, saying that we got one class booking. everyone was as she called it, "indignant". haha.
and am i ever so proud of myself? today there was a spotcheck and i didn't trim my nails. keep on fogetting. anyway, by some stroke of luck, the teacher and prefect bypassed me. lala. maybe cos i look so guai. :)
ok got to go sleep now. leadership workshop tomorrow. hope it won't be boring.
